Green Hill and Mary Booth

Green Hill born November 25, 1751 in Sussex, Albemarle Parish, Virginia and died after July 3, 1800 in Sussex County, Virginia.  This Green Hill married Mary Booth.  Because of his date of birth, this Green Hill is an excellent candidate for the father of Sion Hill even though he wasn’t born in North Carolina.  However, he had a will dated July 3, 1800 in Sussex County, Virginia and names only three children Henry, William, and Martha along with some nephews of his brother Richard Hill.  He gave his Stony Creek plantation to Green Hill Booth who was named as living in Georgia.  The fact that this person’s last name is “Booth” gives credence to the proof that his wife was Mary Booth, the daughter of George Booth.
